Police in Kushtia have apprehended two individuals suspected of operating a child trafficking ring. The arrests followed the abduction of three children, aged nine to ten, from the Poradah Railway Junction area approximately one month prior. These children were reportedly taken to Dhaka and forced into begging. Following their confessions, the arrested suspects led authorities to the recovery of the three children from Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka, where they were found begging. The rescued children, all from Mirpur Upazila in Kushtia, have since been reunited with their families after legal procedures.

This case highlights the ongoing threat of child trafficking and exploitation, emphasizing the need for vigilance and law enforcement action to protect vulnerable children.
