Државната компанија АД ЕСМ во текот на 2025 година платила околу три милиони евра за закуп на капацитет на гасниот терминал во Александрополис, иако истиот не бил користен, објави Фактор повикувајќи се на финансискиот извештај на компанијата. The state-owned company AD ESM incurred costs of approximately three million euros in 2025 for reserving capacity at the Alexandroupolis gas terminal, despite not utilizing the facility. Financial reports indicate payments of 187 million denars in 2025 and an additional 48 million denars in 2024 for this reservation. ESM clarified that these payments cover reserved terminal capacity and transport infrastructure, not consumed gas, and are part of a long-term agreement to secure alternative gas supply and enhance energy security for North Macedonia. The current management has previously filed criminal charges against former board members concerning decisions related to this terminal capacity lease.
