KUALA LUMPUR: Pemandu yang dinilai berhemah akan menerima rebat premium sehingga 10 peratus ketika memperbaharui insurans menerusi aplikasi MyJPJ dalam inisiatif CERMAT MADANI yang diperkenalkan oleh Kementerian Pengangkutan. Menterinya, Anthony Loke berkata insentif itu adalah hasil kerjasama dengan 10 syarikat insurans. Katanya, insentif itu tertakluk kepada penilaian dan keputusan syarikat insurans serta pengendali takaful yang mengambil bahagian berdasarkan rekod pemandua
The Ministry of Transport has launched the CERMAT MADANI initiative, offering drivers a discount of up to 10% on vehicle insurance premiums. This incentive is available when renewing insurance through the MyJPJ application and is a collaboration with 10 insurance companies. The discount is contingent upon an assessment of the driver's risk profile, including their driving record and any outstanding summonses, as determined by participating insurance providers and takaful operators. Individuals with a low-risk profile who meet the specified criteria will be eligible for this additional rebate upon renewal of their Motor Vehicle License (LKM) and insurance via the MyJPJ app.
This initiative aims to incentivize safe driving practices by rewarding motorists with financial benefits on their insurance premiums.
