Australian Football Hall of Fame: Newest inductees to be unveiled; Legend to be celebrated
It’s that AFL night of nights on again for another year – the latest inductees in the Australian Football Hall of Fame will be unveiled. There are always big names. Tonight is no different. Another Legend in the hall of fame will be celebrated, too.
Indigenous star David Kantilla has been named as the latest inductee. He has quite a story. Being selected in the Indigenous Team of the Century is just one of his many achievements.
Kantilla is deceased. His family has given permission for his image to be used.
Kantilla is being represented by two of his nephews, who have both made their way from the Tiwi Islands. One of them was in the Melbourne the last time 28 years ago. It’s a first visit to Victoria for the other one. They are now speaking on stage with MC Gerard Whateley.
