Recent Russian attacks on the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine have resulted in at least five fatalities and over 40 injuries, according to local authorities. In Chuhuiv, a strike claimed the lives of a 22-year-old woman and two men. The city of Kharkiv itself saw at least 15 people injured in separate attacks. Southern Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region reported two deaths and 32 wounded from a single Russian strike. The Ukrainian Air Force stated that Russia launched a barrage of 166 drones and two missiles overnight, with 146 drones being intercepted.
The ongoing attacks highlight the persistent and deadly nature of the conflict, underscoring the lack of de-escalation despite prolonged fighting.
