হামের উপসর্গে আরও তিন শিশুর মৃত্যু, আক্রান্ত হাজারের বেশি
হামের উপসর্গে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় (সোমবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে মঙ্গলবার সকাল ৮টা) দেশে আরও তিন শিশু মারা গেছে। এ সময়ে হাম ও হামের উপসর্গে আক্রান্ত হয়েছে এক হাজার ৩৪ শিশু। হামের উপসর্গে আক্রান্ত শিশুদের একজন ঢাকায়, একজন সিলেটে ও একজন ময়মনসিংহে মারা গেছে। আজ মঙ্গলবার স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হামবিষয়ক প্রতিবেদনে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে গত ১৫ মার্চ থেকে হামের উপসর্গে দেশে ৫৩৯ শিশুর মৃত্যুর তথ্য জানা গেছে। এ সময়ে হাম শনাক্তের পর মারা গেছে ৯২ শিশু। এ পর্যন্ত মোট ৬৩১ শিশু মারা গেছে। স্বাস্থ্য
Three more children have died from measles symptoms in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of reported deaths from the disease since March 15th to 539. In the same period, 1,034 children were infected with measles or its symptoms. The recent fatalities occurred in Dhaka, Sylhet, and Mymensingh. Over 81,000 children have shown measles symptoms this year, with more than 66,000 hospitalized, though over 62,000 have since recovered and been discharged.
The rising number of child deaths and infections highlights a significant public health concern requiring urgent attention and intervention.
