Αύξηση 8,7% στις ασφαλισμένες κατοικίες
Σημαντική αύξηση 8,7% καταγράφηκε στον αριθμό των ενεργών ασφαλιστήριων συμβολαίων κατοικίας , με την ασφαλιστική κάλυψη να αυξάνεται στο 20,5% του συνόλου τον κατοικιών, από 18,9% την περσινή χρονιά, σύμφωνα με στοιχεία της Ενωσης Ασφαλιστικών Εταιρειών Ελλάδας (ΕΑΕΕ). Σε απόλυτους αριθμούς, τα ασφαλιστήρια συμβόλαια κατοικίας ανήλθαν σε 1.355.133 στα τέλη του 2025, από 1.246.656 έναν χρόνο νωρίτερα. The number of active home insurance policies in Greece saw a significant increase of 8.7% last year, reaching over 1.35 million contracts. This rise boosted the overall insurance coverage of homes to 20.5% of the total housing stock, up from 18.9% the previous year. Policies covering building damage experienced an even greater surge of 11.1%.
The incentive of a property tax (ENFIA) discount for insured homes appears to be driving results, as policies covering natural disasters and earthquakes grew by 27.8%. This suggests that financial incentives are effectively encouraging homeowners to secure broader coverage.
This trend indicates a growing awareness and uptake of property insurance, potentially leading to greater financial resilience for homeowners and the insurance sector.
