In Pabna, three individuals have died after sustaining burn injuries while attempting to set fire to the home of an accused in a teenage girl's murder case. The victims, identified as Sumon Sheikh (31), Saiful Islam (19), and Sapur Islam (20), were injured last Wednesday when a gas cylinder exploded during the arson attempt. Two of the deceased, Saiful and Sapur, were being treated in Dhaka, while Sumon passed away in Pabna General Hospital. The initial murder investigation led to the arrest of three suspects in connection with the discovery of the 15-year-old girl's body in a sack on the banks of the Padma River. Police have stated the murder stemmed from a dispute related to a romantic relationship.

This incident highlights the dangerous consequences of mob justice and the escalating violence that can arise from criminal investigations, impacting both the accused and innocent bystanders.
