A tree plantation drive was organised on Tuesday (June 9, 2026) at Kurnool Medical College under the auspices of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI). Speaking at the event, Dr. P. Hari Charan, the in-charge principal of Kurnool Medical College, Chairman of ASI Kurnool, and Professor and Head of the Department of Surgery, stated that special events are being organised in Kurnool from June 8 to 15 to mark “Surgeons’ Week,” a celebration observed across the country.
