Подобра заштита на жените на работно место и поедноставување на процедурите за пријавување мобинг и дискриминација е заклучок на конференцијата „Жените, трудот и социјалната правда“, организирана од Сојузот на синдикатите на Македонија (ССМ). Учесниците истакнаа дека иако законската рамка забранува вознемирување и дискриминација, во пракса постапките за докажување на вакви случаи се сложени и недоволно достапни за жртвите. A conference organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM) highlighted that women in North Macedonia continue to face workplace mobbing and discrimination. Participants noted that while legal frameworks exist, the procedures for proving such cases are complex and inaccessible for victims. SSM advocates for clearer guidelines and simplified steps to help women report harassment and irregularities, including through union structures.
The discussions also revealed a significant gender pay gap, ranging from 20% to 30% for identical positions, and SSM announced campaigns to promote equal pay. The union also aims to increase women's representation in leadership roles, currently around 40% within SSM.
The findings underscore the urgent need for improved legal protections and practical support systems to ensure gender equality and fair treatment for women in the Macedonian workforce.
