She said she would approach the court if the police failed to register a case against Mr. Tom. She feared that she might not receive justice, as her fellow actor was often seen rubbing shoulders with various politicians. Though she had lodged the complaint with the Infopark police initially, it was later forwarded to the Kadavanthra police station. She said she was hurt after coming across baseless allegations against her and her family members. On whether she would appear before a panel announced by the AMMA leadership on her complaint, she wondered how she could appear before a committee that included association president Shwetha Menon, against whom she had raised an allegation of not giving due seriousness to her complaint initially.
