Suspeito de integrar grupo que torturou duas vítimas no Complexo de Israel é preso em Bangu

Authorities in Rio de Janeiro have arrested a man identified as David da Costa Martins, also known as “Titânio,” in Bangu. He is accused of participating in the torture of two individuals within the Complexo de Israel, a region known for its association with the Terceiro Comando Puro (TCP) criminal faction. The victims were reportedly fleeing an attempted robbery when they were pursued by criminals who suspected one of them of being a police officer. They were subsequently detained, beaten, and threatened at a location called "Resort," allegedly used by traffickers for meetings and punishments. Martins is one of twelve individuals indicted in connection with the incident.

This arrest highlights ongoing efforts to combat organized crime and hold individuals accountable for violent acts, including torture and its fatal consequences for innocent bystanders.
