While attempting to set a personal record in the 42-kilometer race, she experienced an episode of diarrhea and soiled her clothing. Naira explained that she had trained her body and digestive system for the race, but a combination of anxiety, hydration, energy gels, and intense physical exertion likely contributed to the event. She attempted to use a restroom once but found no facilities available when the urge returned, leading her to try and hold it in. Despite the discomfort, she managed to finish the marathon and later cleaned up and changed.
