Nasa names next astronauts for Artemis Moon programme

NASA has announced the crew members for the upcoming Artemis II mission. This mission is a significant step in the agency's lunar exploration program. However, the selected astronauts will not be landing on the Moon or even flying in its direct vicinity during this particular flight. Instead, their journey will serve as a crucial test flight, orbiting the Moon before returning to Earth.

This mission is important because it will be the first crewed flight beyond low-Earth orbit in over 50 years, testing critical systems for future lunar landings.
