₹95,962 crore set aside for VB-G RAM G

The Indian government has allocated ₹95,962 crore for the Vibrant Bharat-Gramin Rozgar Abhiyan Mission (VB-G RAM G). This funding was set aside in advance to facilitate a smooth transition from the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). Rural Development Minister stated that no state will experience a reduction in their allocated funds under this new initiative. Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu are slated to receive the largest portions of this budget.
