Four Bangladeshi filmmakers and producers are participating in the Sheffield DocFest, the UK's largest documentary festival. They will present their ongoing projects, including excerpts from their films, under the "New Stories, Emerging Authors: Showcase of Work in Progress from Bangladesh" initiative. Among them, পিপলু আর খান will showcase "Nomads of the North," while কাজী আরেফিন আহমেদ, তায়রান রাজ্জাক, and মকবুল চৌধুরী will present their respective documentary projects: "Opekkha," "Monk of the Mangroves," and "Mashab." This event serves as a significant platform for South Asian filmmakers to connect with international producers, distributors, and sales agents.
