Raissa Silva de Souza, a 21-year-old woman who suffered a severe head injury after falling from her bicycle, has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Rio Branco's emergency hospital. She spent 25 days in critical care following the May 12th accident, which occurred when she reportedly hit a pothole on BR-364. Now in a regular ward, Raissa is able to understand conversations and communicate through gestures and by typing messages on a cell phone, expressing her desire to go home. Although still unable to speak due to a tracheostomy, her condition is improving, marking a significant step in her recovery. Her family plans to discuss the accident with her gradually as her communication abilities improve.
