Καταγγελίες για «ρουσφέτι» στο Βενιζέλειο Νοσοκομείο: Έβγαλαν από μονόκλινο 27χρονη με ALS για να εξυπηρετήσουν στέλεχος
Mια 27χρονη ασθενής που πάσχει από Πλαγία Αμυοτροφική Σκλήρυνση ( ALS/MND ) η οποία και νοσηλεύεται στο Βενιζέλειο Νοσοκομείο μεταφέρθηκε σε άλλο δωμάτιο για να μπορέσει το νοσοκομείο -σύμφωνα με καταγγελίες – να εξυπηρετηθεί «ρουσφέτι». Όπως αποκάλυψε το patris.gr , ένταση επικράτησε στο νοσοκομείο όταν η νεαρή γυναίκα τελικά επί της ουσίας αναγκάστηκε να μεταφερθεί από το μονόκλινο δωμάτιο όπου νοσηλευόταν σε θάλαμο οκτώ ατόμων. A 27-year-old patient with ALS, requiring specialized care due to her condition and a severe infection, was reportedly moved from a private room at Venizeleio Hospital to an eight-bed ward. This alleged transfer, to accommodate a staff member, sparked outrage among hospital staff. Following the protests, the patient was eventually moved to another private room in the internal medicine clinic. The hospital's employee union president confirmed the incident, deeming it unacceptable and demanding an explanation from the administration.
The incident raises concerns about equitable patient treatment and the potential prioritization of personal connections over medical necessity in public healthcare facilities.
