A 10-year-old boy from Mohammadpur, Dhaka, named Muhammad Sayeed Hossain, suffers from a congenital kidney disease that necessitates a kidney transplant to save his life. His mother has volunteered to donate a kidney, and the procedure is scheduled to take place at Acibadem Healthpoint Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. The family will be in Turkey from June 21st to September 15th for the surgery and recovery. Sayeed's father, a private sector employee, has stated that the estimated cost of the treatment exceeds 5.6 million Bangladeshi Taka, a sum beyond his family's financial capacity.
