Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) is urged to investigate a four-story building allegedly constructed illegally by foreign nationals in Sungai Tekali, Hulu Langat. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Watch (MCW) also called on other authorities, including the District Office, Immigration Department, Fire and Rescue Department, and the Royal Malaysia Police, to conduct a thorough probe into the structure that has gone viral on social media. MCW questioned how such a large building could exist and operate for an extended period without effective action from relevant authorities, especially if it lacks proper building plan approvals and local council permits. The organization stressed that the issue should focus on governance integrity, law enforcement, and building safety, rather than solely on ethnicity, to prevent speculation and racial sentiment.

This situation highlights concerns about illegal construction, potential governance failures, and the need for robust enforcement of laws to maintain public trust in institutions.
