KUALA LUMPUR: Isteri bekas Perdana Menteri, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor diperintahkan membayar RM67.5 juta kepada syarikat barangan kemas Lubnan selepas didapati bertanggungjawab atas kehilangan 43 barang kemas bernilai AS$14.57 juta. Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi, Datuk Quay Chew Soon dalam penghakimannya sebentar tadi, memerintahkan Rosmah membayar jumlah ganti rugi atas kehilangan barangan itu dalam tempoh sebulan bermula daripada penghakiman yang diputuskan hari ini kepada Global Ro
The High Court has ordered Rosmah Mansor, wife of the former Prime Minister, to pay RM67.5 million to a Lebanese jewelry company. This ruling comes after she was found responsible for the disappearance of 43 pieces of jewelry valued at US$14.57 million. The court found a prima facie case that Rosmah failed to return the jewelry to Global Royalty Trading SAL. She was given one month from the judgment date to settle the damages and was also ordered to pay RM150,000 in costs.
