Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Army reportedly launched missile and drone strikes against U.S. bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. These actions followed U.S. airstrikes on targets in southern Iran, which were a response to Iran shooting down a U.S. helicopter over the Sea of Oman. The IRGC claimed to have hit 21 targets, including U.S. F-35 fighter jet hangars in Jordan. The U.S. military stated that its forces targeted Iranian radar, air defense, and missile systems across 20 locations in three waves of attacks.
