Scottland FC to play Kaizer Chiefs in the 2026 Toyota Cup

SCOTTLAND FC has been confirmed as this year’s opponents for Kaizer Chiefs in the prestigious Toyota Cup. The match is scheduled to be played on the 26th of July at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in South Africa. Hosted by South African giants Kaizer Chiefs, the tournament will be marking its third edition in a row and will see Scottland joining Young Africa and Asante Kitoko on the list of foreign teams which have participated in the tournament. The recent development comes two weeks after Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung visited Zimbabwe and toured Scottland FC’s facilities in Ruwa before watching their home win against CAPS United at the National Sports Stadium. Owned by Mabvuku-Tafara Member of Parliament Scott Sakupwanya, Scottland FC set a record last year when they won the league title in their debut league season. Scottland FC will use the upcoming match to gauge their performance in the African Safari, as it comes weeks before they start their CAF Champions League campaign.
