সাভারে পুলিশের ওপর হামলা চালিয়ে মাদক মামলার আসামি ছিনতাই

Two police officers were injured in Savar, Dhaka, while attempting to arrest a suspect wanted in a drug case. The officers, identified as SI S.M. Shamim and ASI Mashiur Rahman Khan, were attacked with bricks and sticks by the suspect and his accomplices shortly after the arrest. A group of approximately 40-50 individuals then assaulted the police and facilitated the escape of the drug suspect, identified as Rafiqul Islam. The injured officers received medical treatment at the Savar Upazila Health Complex. Another police team arrived later to rescue the officers, but the assailants had already fled.

This incident highlights the challenges law enforcement faces in apprehending criminals, particularly in drug-related cases, and underscores the need for swift action against those who obstruct justice.
