ময়মনসিংহে লাইনচ্যুত ট্রেন উদ্ধারে গিয়ে উদ্ধারকারী ট্রেনও লাইনচ্যুত, রেল চলাচল বন্ধ
ময়মনসিংহে লাইনচ্যুত একটি ট্রেন উদ্ধার করতে গিয়ে উদ্ধারকারী ট্রেনও লাইনচ্যুত হয়েছে। এতে কোনো যাত্রী হতাহত হননি। আজ বুধবার সকালে এসব দুর্ঘটনার পর পর ঢাকা-ময়মনসিংহ ও ময়মনসিংহ-জামালপুর রেলপথে ট্রেন চলাচল বন্ধ হয়ে পড়েছে। রেলওয়ে সূত্র জানায়, আজ সকাল ৯টা ১২ মিনিটের দিকে ময়মনসিংহ নগরের আনন্দ মোহন কলেজ রেলক্রসিং এলাকায় জামালপুরের দেওয়ানগঞ্জ থেকে ছেড়ে আসা ঢাকাগামী ব্রহ্মপুত্র এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনের একটি পাওয়ার কার লাইনচ্যুত হয়। এতে জামালপুর থেকে ময়মনসিংহ হয়ে ঢাকাগামী ট্রেন চলাচল সাময়িকভাবে
A train derailment in Mymensingh has led to further disruption as a rescue train sent to assist also went off the tracks. The initial incident occurred around 9:12 AM near the Anand Mohan College railway crossing when a power car of the Brahmaputra Express, traveling from Dewanganj to Dhaka, derailed. Fortunately, no passengers were injured in either incident. The subsequent derailment of the rescue train, which happened near Krishnapur before reaching Mymensingh Junction station, has completely halted train services on the Dhaka-Mymensingh and Mymensingh-Jamalpur routes.
The dual derailments have caused a significant suspension of rail traffic, impacting passenger and freight movement on crucial northern routes.
