२५ लाख किसान सरकारी प्रणालीमा जोडिए, १६ लाख अझै बाँकी

Approximately 2.5 million farmers across Nepal have been registered in the government's farmer registration system. This digital initiative, managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environment, collects data on farmers' landholdings and production. The system aims to incorporate all farmers into a digital framework for better agricultural management and support. Despite the significant number registered, an estimated 1.6 million farmers from the 2078 agricultural census, which identified a total of 4.13 million farmers, are yet to be included.

This farmer registration system is crucial for the government to accurately identify and support its agricultural sector, enabling targeted policies and resource allocation.
