Projections indicate continued price hikes, with a 10.1% year-on-year increase observed in early 2026. Many lower-income families are now hesitant to seek dental treatment due to fear of accumulating costs from necessary procedures. Dentists attribute these rising expenses to increased operational costs, including materials, energy, rent, and wages, as well as insufficient reimbursements from health insurance companies.

The escalating cost of dental services makes essential oral healthcare less accessible, potentially leading to delayed treatment and poorer public health outcomes.
