जोजिला टनल: डेढ़ घंटे का सफर 15 मिनट में, लद्दाख का विंटर वनवास भी खत्म!

The Zojila Tunnel, an ambitious infrastructure project in India, is nearing completion. This 13.15-kilometer tunnel is being constructed at an altitude of 11,578 feet and has a total cost of approximately 6800 crore rupees. Once operational, it is expected to dramatically reduce travel time between the Ladakh region and the rest of the country. The journey, which currently takes about an hour and a half through the Zojila Pass, will be shortened to a mere 15 minutes.

This tunnel will significantly improve connectivity to Ladakh, especially during winter months, ending its seasonal isolation and boosting economic activity.
