A fire broke out at Siddhababa Uniform Enterprises garment factory in Basundhara, Tokha Municipality-5, causing an estimated loss of 80 million Nepalese Rupees. The blaze, believed to have started from an electrical short circuit, began around 3 AM on Wednesday. It took the combined efforts of eleven fire engines, water tankers, police, army, and armed police to bring the fire under control. The garment factory was completely destroyed in the incident.
