‘ইন দ্য পাথ অব জায়ান্টস’ পোস্টার ৩৪তম রেইনড্যান্স আন্তর্জাতিক চলচ্চিত্র উৎসবে অফিশিয়াল সিলেকশনে জায়গা করে নিয়েছে ‘ইন দ্য পাথ অব জায়ান্টস।’ ২১ ও ২৩ জুন তথ্যচিত্রটি উৎসবে দেখানো হবে। উৎসবে স্বল্পদৈর্ঘ্য চলচ্চিত্র বিভাগে প্রদর্শিত হবে বাংলাদেশের আরেক সিনেমা আলী। বাংলাদেশ, সিঙ্গাপুর ও যুক্তরাজ্যের যৌথ প্রযোজনায় নির্মিত তথ্যচিত্র ‘ইন দ্য পাথ অব জায়ান্টস’ পরিচালনা করেছেন বাংলাদেশের ফায়াদ খান ও যুক্তরাজ্যের কার্স্টি ওয়েলস। ‘আলী’ স্বল্পদৈর্ঘ্যের পোস্টার পরিচালক ফায়াদ খান প্রথম আলোকে
The documentary 'In the Path of Giants', a joint production of Bangladesh, Singapore, and the UK, has been officially selected for the 34th Raindance International Film Festival. Directed by Fayad Khan of Bangladesh and Kirsty Wells of the UK, the film explores the complex human-elephant conflict in the world's largest refugee camp located in southern Bangladesh. It will be screened on June 21 and 23, competing in the Best Feature Documentary and Best Cinematography UK categories. Additionally, the short film 'Ali', directed by Adnan Al Rajib, will be showcased in the short film section of the festival, which runs from June 17 to June 26.
This highlights the international recognition of Bangladeshi cinema and sheds light on critical humanitarian and environmental issues faced in the region.
