২৯ মে ২০২৬, সকাল ৭টা। আমাদের যাত্রা শুরু হলো ঢাকা থেকে। গন্তব্য ফেনী জেলার ছাগলনাইয়া উপজেলার মধুগ্রাম। আকাশ মেঘাচ্ছন্ন ছিল, তবে বৃষ্টি হয়নি। বৃষ্টি হলে ভালোই হতো; কোরবানির ঈদের পরদিন হওয়ায় রাস্তাঘাটের আবর্জনাগুলো অন্তত ধুয়েমুছে যেত। এ যাত্রায় আমার সঙ্গী ছিল পরিবারের সদস্যরা। ঢাকা-চট্টগ্রাম মহাসড়কের দুই পাশের প্রকৃতি ও উদ্ভিদরাজি পর্যবেক্ষণের উদ্দেশ্যে আমি চালকের পাশের আসনে বসলাম। এতে পথের দৃশ্য নিবিড়ভাবে দেখার সুযোগ মিলল। ফেনী যেতে হলে তিনটি বড় নদী পার হতে হয়। একসময়

The trip also highlighted the widespread proliferation of brick kilns on agricultural land, a practice detrimental to both farming and the environment. Additionally, open garbage dumps near Feni and Chhagalnaiya create foul odors and pollution.
The unchecked expansion of environmentally damaging brick kilns and open waste disposal sites raises serious questions about the future sustainability of agricultural land and public health in the region.
