A joint temporary security base has been established in Lampata, Bajura, by the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police. This action follows a dispute and clashes between locals from Bajura and Humla in Ward 3 of Himali Rural Municipality. The government's decision to set up the base comes two weeks after the conflict occurred. A joint security team departed from the district headquarters, Martadi, on Wednesday to establish the post.

The establishment of this security base aims to prevent further conflict and ensure peace between the communities of Bajura and Humla.
