Three people die in separate crashes on South Australian roads in one day, including a 23-year-old woman who was struck by a rubbish truck in Adelaide's north-east.

A 43-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into a building at a winery in Langhorne Creek.

A man died in head-on collision with a truck on the Dukes Highway.

Three people have died in separate crashes on South Australian roads today, including a young woman who was struck by a rubbish truck in Adelaide's north-east.

SA Police said a 23-year-old woman from Modbury Heights was killed by the truck on Melrose Street in the same suburb about 9:45am.

He was reported for careless driving causing death and summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

To the south-east of Adelaide, a 43-year-old motorcyclist from Nangkita died after his bike crashed into a building at a Langhorne Creek winery and caught fire about 8:45am.

And a man from Paradise died after his car collided head-on with a road train at Elwomple, south-east of Tailem Bend, this morning.

The Dukes Highway is expected to remain closed between the Mallee Highway and Tynan Road overnight while the Country Fire Service remains at a fire caused by the crash.

The three deaths bring the lives lost on South Australia's road this year to 50, compared with 37 at the same time last year.
