A 29-year-old woman, Rakshita Pujari, was found dead in her husband's house in Belagavi on June 10.
She hailed from Muniyalu village in Udupi district, in coastal Karnataka. She was married to Manjunath Pujari, an industrial worker, in May.
Manjunath told the police that he found her body in his house at Shivaji Nagar when he returned from work.
Rakshita’s parents told the police that, on June 9, their attempts to contact her had failed.
