ΕΛΣΤΑΤ: Στο 5,2% ο πληθωρισμός τον Μάιο – Ανατιμήσεις καταγράφηκαν σε τρόφιμα, ενέργεια και υπηρεσίες
Υποχώρησε κατά τι ο ρυθμός ανόδου του πληθωρισμού τον Μάιο εφέτος, καθώς αυξήθηκε 5,2% από 5,4% τον προηγούμενο μήνα και έναντι αύξησης 2,5% τον Μάιο 2025. Ωστόσο, στην ετήσια σύγκριση ξεχωρίζουν οι ανατιμήσεις σε είδη διατροφής, ενέργεια και υπηρεσίες. Ειδικότερα, καταγράφηκαν αυξήσεις τιμών, μεταξύ άλλων, σε: Μοσχάρι (17,6%), Χοιρινό (1,7%), Αρνί και κατσίκι (16,2%), Πουλερικά (6%), Αλλαντικά (4,9%), Παρασκευάσματα με βάση το κρέας (4,5%), Ψάρια αλίπαστα (12,6%), Γαλακτοκομ
Inflation in Greece saw a slight decrease in May, reaching 5.2% compared to 5.4% the previous month, according to ELSTAT. However, year-on-year comparisons reveal significant price hikes in essential categories such as food, energy, and services. Notable annual increases were observed in beef, lamb, and heating oil, among other items.
Despite the overall slowdown, monthly price drops were recorded for natural gas and air travel. Conversely, rents, electricity, gasoline, and restaurant services experienced month-on-month increases.
The persistent rise in the cost of living, particularly in food and energy, continues to impact household budgets and economic stability.
