স্টার্টআপ প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য আসছে করছাড়, হবে ৪০০ কোটি টাকার তহবিল

The upcoming national budget is set to introduce significant tax exemptions and a Tk 400 crore fund for startups, content creators, and freelancers. This initiative aims to boost digital entrepreneurship and income generation among young people. The government plans to remove all forms of taxes for these sectors, including a proposed exemption from the current 7.5% tax for IT-independent freelancers. Additionally, a 15% VAT on services imported by startups, rental of spaces, and a zero percent turnover tax for innovative and technology-based businesses are under consideration. These tax benefits are expected to be in effect until June 30, 2035.

This policy shift aims to foster innovation and economic growth by making it easier and more profitable for young entrepreneurs and digital creators to operate and earn income within the country.
