In Rajshahi, a mobile library vehicle operated by the World Literature Centre was detained by members of the Chhatra Dal. The activists objected to the presence of books related to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and the previous government. The vehicle was subsequently taken to the Deputy Commissioner's (DC) office. The DC instructed the library in-charge to remove these specific books from circulation. The in-charge has pledged to comply and remove the books from the mobile library within the day, expressing regret for the situation.
