The State Government has taken yet another innovative step to streamline case monitoring and strengthen litigation management framework.
The Government has introduced a comprehensive Court Cases Monitoring System (CCMS). Developed by the NIC, Bihar, the system has been necessitated to strengthen institutional framework and ensure timely data entry and digital communication readiness. The Government has issued a circular to all departments in the secretariat to appoint a competent officer, a dedicated officer preferably deputy secretary or above rank, as nodal officer for CCMS within the department.
The departments are instructed to furnish complete list of sub-departments/offices/units functioning under the control of the parent department along with the name, designation and other details of the nodal officers. The nodal officer of the department concerned would be responsible for overall CCMS coordination, monitoring case entry, ensuring creation of email ID and reporting compliance to the Law department. The names should be submitted within seven days, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao said in a circular memo issued to the departments.
The NIC, on receipt of details of the nodal officers, would create login credentials enabling them to enter and update details of the cases in the CCMS portal without delay. The Government had instructed that all pending and ongoing cases involving the departments concerned should be immediately entered into the CCMS portal using the credentials provided by the NIC. It would be mandator4y to file the case type, number and the year of filing in the portal. The nodal officer should ensure completeness and accuracy of data entry and monitor updation of case status regularly.
Necessary steps should be taken to create official email IDs with the domain @telangana.gov.in for all officers and employees up to the mandal level. These email IDs are essential for receiving CCMS notifications, court orders, and legal communications, the memo said. The
