Вандализирањето на детските игралишта и на урбаната опрема поставена низ населбите и парковите е сѐ почеста појава во Скопје, за која локалните власти досега не најдоа решение, освен постојано да трошат пари од општинските буџети за обновување на реквизитите, клупите, корпите за отпадоци. Општина Бутел, не можејќи на друг начин да се справи со овој проблем, најави дека наскоро на јавните површини ќе воведе видеонадзор и дека веќе започнале со активности за поставување камери,

However, the municipality has not yet clarified if this plan complies with the Personal Data Protection Law, especially concerning the surveillance of children. Previous attempts by other municipalities, like Centar, to implement similar video surveillance systems have stalled due to concerns about data privacy regulations and the proper procedures for handling personal information.
