Dragan Đilas, president of the Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), claims that Chinese companies have secured contracts in Serbia over the past decade without public tenders. He alleges that these companies were paid significantly more for their work in Serbia compared to their value in China and the European Union. Đilas stated that the prices paid were two to four times higher than the actual worth of the services rendered.
This statement raises concerns about the transparency and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure projects awarded to foreign companies in Serbia.
