An employee of the IML in Santos, Brazil, has been arrested on suspicion of transferring R$ 7,000 from the bank account of a deceased motorcyclist using the victim's cell phone for a Pix transaction. The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Daniel Nathan Ribeiro Andrade, allegedly used a false name when interacting with the victim's widow after the crime. The widow reported that the employee continued working at the IML even after she filed a police report about the suspicious transaction, which occurred while her husband was already deceased. She encountered him again at the IML, where he reportedly gave a different false name.
