This measure aims to resolve a long-standing issue affecting thousands of beneficiaries, prompted by a Council of State decision that revived the "one national pension" rule. The proposed regulations will focus on two main areas: the complete abolition of retroactive cuts for survivor pensions that were foreseen but not imposed after 2019, impacting around 118,000 pensions. Additionally, it addresses public sector survivor pensioners who experienced significant reductions after three years, proposing to restore their pensions to 70% of the deceased's pension instead of the current 35%.
