According to U.S. Central Command, a strike disabled the ship's engine room and navigation system after the crew allegedly failed to comply with repeated commands. Twenty-one Indian sailors were rescued, but the status of three other crew members remains unknown.
This incident heightens regional tensions and raises concerns about the safety of international maritime traffic, particularly given the unknown fate of missing crew members and India's strong diplomatic protest.
