Uganda secures Shs3.7 trillion deal for 10 new Boeing passenger planes

Uganda Airlines has finalized a significant agreement with Boeing for the acquisition of ten new passenger aircraft. The deal, valued at approximately Shs3.7 trillion (around $1 billion USD), was officially signed on June 10 in the presence of President Yoweri Museveni. This major investment is expected to bolster the national carrier's fleet and expand its operational capabilities.

This expansion is crucial for Uganda's national airline to enhance its competitiveness and connectivity in the regional and international aviation markets.
