Serbia and the Hungarian energy company MOL have reached an agreement regarding NIS, the Serbian oil and gas company. Under the terms of the deal, Serbia will have the opportunity to increase its ownership stake in NIS. Additionally, the operations of the Pančevo refinery are secured, and Serbian representatives on the NIS management board will be granted expanded authorities.
This agreement is significant as it impacts Serbia's energy sector control and future refinery operations.
