2027: Governorship aspirants spent N30bn on primary elections — EFCC boss

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is preparing to enhance its oversight of the 2027 general elections. The commission intends to utilize advanced technologies, including drones, to bolster its monitoring capabilities during the electoral process. This initiative comes as the EFCC chairman disclosed that governorship aspirants reportedly spent approximately 30 billion Naira on primary elections alone.
