A medida é obrigatória e está prevista em lei publicada nesta quarta-feira (10). Além dos medicamentos gratuitos, os estabelecimentos também deverão divulgar os remédios contemplados por programas de desconto oferecidos por órgãos
Pharmacies and drugstores in Natal are now legally required to inform customers about medications available for free through the Unified Health System (SUS). The new law mandates that these establishments display posters indicating the availability of free SUS medications and direct consumers to the National List of Essential Medicines (RENAME) on the Ministry of Health's website. This information must be clearly visible within or outside the stores, with a minimum A4 size for the posters. Online platforms of these businesses must also provide this information.
This law aims to increase public awareness and access to essential medications provided by the SUS, ensuring that consumers are informed about their healthcare options.
