Maqueiro atravessa rio para salvar criança de 6 anos em Araruama Uma criança autista de 6 anos foi resgatada após cair no Rio Mataruna, em Araruama, na Região dos Lagos do Rio, na noite desta terça-feira (9). O menino foi retirado da água por um maqueiro da Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) Pediátrica do município e levado para atendimento médico. Segundo a Prefeitura, ele recebeu alta e passa bem. A 6-year-old autistic child was rescued from the Mataruna River in Araruama, Rio de Janeiro, after falling in on Tuesday night. A stretcher bearer from the municipal UPA Pediátrica, Luiz Felipe Pita, heard a woman's plea for help and immediately jumped into the river to save the child. He brought the boy to the UPA, where he received prompt medical attention. The child, who had reportedly left home unnoticed after opening the gate, was evaluated and subsequently discharged, reportedly in good condition. Municipal Civil Guard agents also assisted in the operation.
