Γερμανία: Λήγει το μέτρο για τη μείωση του φόρου στα καύσιμα λόγω δημοσιονομικού κόστους – Οι εναλλακτικές της κυβέρνησης

The government has decided against extending the measure due to its significant fiscal cost, estimated at approximately 1.6 billion euros for its two-month duration. While acknowledging the reduction's effectiveness in lowering prices, officials cited the current financial constraints, stating the country cannot afford to incur further debt for this purpose. The government is now exploring alternative strategies to mitigate high fuel costs for consumers.
The decision to end the fuel tax cut could lead to increased prices at the pump, impacting household budgets and potentially influencing consumer spending and inflation.
