The Kuybyshev oil refinery in Samara, Russia, has ceased all oil processing operations following a drone attack on the night of June 10th. According to industry sources cited by Reuters, the refinery's primary crude distillation units, CDU-4 and CDU-5, sustained significant damage and subsequent fires, leading to a complete shutdown. Prior to the incident, the plant was a key producer of fuel, including for the Russian military, processing approximately 94,400 barrels of oil daily in 2024.
